Supplementary material

The supplementary material is defined as a material aside from the original  offered but that it supports the base of what is offered, and gives some entertainment with an extracurricular activity for making the learning process more fun and easier to get along with.
An example would be a book that has a workbook ,C.D ,Maps,quizzes,puzzles ect.. and now some websites that offer this materiasl in a direct form using the technology.
To see some example here are some links:

Play Acting

Play acting or role play is very important in teaching a foreign language like english.
Using real life situations combined with some visuals like drawings and guides it could be very helpful. This stimulates the imagination as well as developing the personality motivating the students to participate more. Sometimes some students may be shy at first so it´s important not to force them right away, you could start by introducing easy role plays and then when students have more confidence increase the complexity of the situations.

Examples of role plays are:

 To go shopping
One student could be the salesman and the other the buyier, using all the interactions that you see in a store when you want to purchase something.

Dressing for an occasion
You choose a situation where a student must dress for that purpose, it could be a wedding a party and interview, using all the cloths for that special occasion. You can include a vocabulary list of all types of garments.

Traveling abroad
This role play is very useful for people who want to travel. It helps them interact in a foreign country in current situations. One student can be the traveler and the other the person in the airline counter.Another idea would be a student beeing the receptionist in a hotel and the other the arriving guest checking in.

In a restaurant
Here we have a group of students who act as the clients in a restaurant ant the other is the waiter taking the orders.
